«Archipelago Italia», title that gives its name to Pabellón Italia that this year has been sponsored by Iris Ceramica Group, was the chosen place to carry out the colloquium. Joan Roig, as spokesperson for Batlle i Roig Arquitectes, spoke about his multidisciplinary study and some of the most emblematic projects developed so far. Silverio Sierra, from the Harari Landscape studio, presented the most significant landscaping projects that have modernized Monterrey. And Mario Cucinella representing MC A Architects, curator studio of the Italy Pavilion, explained how the pavilion at the 2018 Biennial, has been conceived as a space that takes the visitor on a trip through the Italian Archipelago with the purpose of giving visibility to the territory Lesser-known Italian.
The round table, moderated by the IUAV University professor of Venice, Angelo Maggi, ended in an open debate where the public, made up of internationally recognized architects, shared their opinion and contributed their experience thus enriching the dialogue.
