WORKING DAY IN BERLIN

Rafael de La-Hoz, Broadway Malyan, GCA Architects, BSV Architects and PMDJ Architects visit the Porcelaingres facilities in Berlin accompanied by Vicente Traver, Miquel Ródenas, Rafael Blanco and Rafael Íñiguez from Matimex's Technical Assistance Department.

The guests dedicated an interesting day of work to visit the ceramic production plant with the highest technology in technical products, from 6 mm to thick materials, special for technical pavements.

The Porcelaingres factory is one of the largest plants in the world with a covered area of more than 70,000 square meters and a production capacity of more than 6 million square meters per year.

It is also one of the most modern and sustainable in Europe: the ceramics in disuse are crushed to be subsequently reused, the waste is recycled, the water used in the production process is purified and the consumption of electricity is self-generated by the photovoltaic plant installed on deck, one of the largest in Brandenburg.

The visit ended in the exhibition hall updated with the new collections and a buffet-lunch in the outdoor area located in front of the same room, which for the occasion integrated the outdoor special collection.

To the delight of the guests, a boat dinner was offered at dusk along the Esprea River, which meanders through a good part of the city of Berlin showed its extraordinary architecture.
